Maruti Suzuki India Limited has officially announced the winners of the 9th Cohort of its prestigious Accelerator Program. This year marks a significant milestone with the inclusion of global startups for the first time, alongside Indian participants. A total of nine startups—six from India and three from Germany—emerged as winners and will now collaborate with Maruti Suzuki on proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.

Promoting Innovation in Mobility and Manufacturing

The six Indian winners—Frinks AI, mistEO, Adagrad, Com Olho, ProSolvr, and Eligere—alongside German startups Caire AI, Syn2Core, and Talonic, presented cutting-edge solutions in diverse domains. These include AI-powered innovations in cybersecurity, road safety, quality control, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and battery swapping technologies.

Each of these innovations holds potential to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience in the mobility ecosystem. As part of the program, the selected startups will work closely with Maruti Suzuki teams to test and validate their solutions in real-world conditions. This initiative aligns with the Indian Government’s ‘Startup India’ and ‘Make in India’ visions, further strengthening Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to technological advancement and entrepreneurship.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated, “Startups bring fresh thinking and new ideas. Through the Accelerator program, we co-create future-ready solutions that improve customer experience and operational efficiency. With the inclusion of global startups, we take a step forward in our journey to offer the ‘Joy of Mobility’ to all.”

Maruti Suzuki’s Expanding Startup Ecosystem

Since its inception in January 2019, the Maruti Suzuki Accelerator has become a cornerstone of the company’s innovation strategy. The company has evaluated over 5,000 startups and engaged with 150 of them. Out of these, 25 startups have been successfully onboarded as partners, delivering tangible business value.

Complementing the Accelerator, Maruti Suzuki has also launched initiatives like the Incubation Program (2020), Mobility Challenge (2021), and Nurture (2023), which support startups across different stages of growth.

By fostering collaboration with both domestic and international tech innovators, Maruti Suzuki continues to lead the way in future mobility solutions, reinforcing its role as a catalyst in India’s startup and automotive ecosystems.
