Maruti Grand Vitara Dominion Edition launched: Here’s what’s new

Maruti Suzuki has launched a new Dominion Edition of the Grand Vitara. Available in Alpha, Zeta and Delta variants across both the mild-hybrid petrol engine and CNG variants, the Grand Vitara Dominion Edition is priced at Rs 48,599, Rs 49,999, and Rs 52,699 over Delta, Zeta, and Alpha trims, respectively.

The Dominion Edition adds a few external and internal enhancements over the regular model through complimentary accessory kits. The exterior upgrades include prominent elements such as side steps, rear skid plates, body side moulding, and door visors, along with premium car care kit. 

On the inside, the Dominion Edition offers premium dual-tone seat covers, all-weather 3D mats, an interior styling kit, and a host of additional elements that offer enhanced comfort and a more premium cabin experience. The limited-edition Grand Vitara Dominion will be available for sale across all Nexa showrooms for the month of October 2024 only.

Commenting on the introduction of Grand Vitara Dominion Limited Edition, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The Grand Vitara has redefined the mid SUV segment, and the Dominion Edition builds on this success by offering options that cater to the evolving preferences of our customers.It features distinct styling with added comfort and a more premium interior, meeting the growing customer inclination towards stand-out appearance and superior in-cabin experience.”

Maruti Grand Vitara Dominion Edition: Powertrain 

As mentioned earlier, the Grand Vitara Dominion Edition is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine (mild-hybrid) engine which produces 102 bhp and 137 Nm of peak torque. This motor is paired with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter auto transmission. Maruti also offers the option of all-wheel drive configuration with the manual gearbox.

The Dominion Edition is also available with the CNG powertrain which pushes out 87 bhp at 5500 rpm and 121.5Nm at 4200 rpm of peak torque. The CNG powertrain is only available with a six-speed manual gearbox.
