
With all-new Mahindra KUV100 compact SUV, the home-grown automaker will target young enthusiasts who aspire for a practical yet affordable utility vehicle
Mahindra KUV100 sub-compact SUV’s variant-wise features have been revealed ahead of its launch on January 15, 2016. Mahindra & Mahindra dealers across the country have started taking pre-orders for the vehicle at Rs 10,000.
With Hyundai Grand i10, Tata Zica and Maruti Swift in its sight, the Mahindra KUV100 sub-compact SUV is expected to be priced between Rs. 4 lakh – Rs 6.5 lakh. Though, at this price range, it might also impact the sales of the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R hatchback.

Besides above-mentioned features, the Mahindra KUV100 will also get driver and front passenger airbags as an optional features across all variants starting from the base.
The KUV100 will debut with the company’s all-new mFalcon engine range – a 82bhp, 1.2-litre G80 mFalcon petrol and a 77bhp, 1.2-litre D75 mFalcon diesel – that are claimed to deliver high fuel efficiency. The mFlacon engine lineup has been developed under joint venture of Mahindra and Ssangyong. Initially, the vehicle will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission only.
