Land Rover launched the hardcore Defender Octa starting from Rs 2.59 crore, ex-showroom. The company is also offering the special Defender Octa Edition One trim that costs Rs 2.79 crore, ex-showroom. Land Rover opened the bookings of the first batch of Defender Octa way back in July last year and is currently sold out.

Land Rover Defender Octa: Engine Specifications
The Defender Octa is powered with a 4.4-litre Twin Turbo mild-hybrid V8 that delivers 626 bhp and 750 Nm of torque, propelling it from 0-100 kmph in 4 seconds. It is equipped with 6D Dynamics suspension, an increased ride height of 28mm and a wider stance of 68mm for better stability. Defender Octa boasts a segment-best ground clearance of 323mm and can wade through one metre of water.
Octa Mode enhances the SUV’s off-road capabilities further by optimizing traction, braking, and acceleration on loose surfaces. Larger 400mm brake discs with Brembo callipers ensure confident stopping power, while the largest-ever 33-inch tyres boost all-terrain control.

The Defender OCTA Edition One variant gets special Faroe Green interiors with Khaki/Ebony Ultrafabrics, which is 30% lighter than traditional leather. It comes with carbon fibre detailing and 20-inch forged alloy wheels. It gets Performance Seats with integrated headrests and is packed with a 700 W, 15-speaker, Meridian surround sound system. The OCTA also debuts colour options, including Petra Copper and Carpathian Grey.
