Lamborghini has finally launched its new flagship Revuelto in India at a whopping price tag of Rs 8.89 crore (ex-showroom). Replacing the Aventador range in the lineup, the Revuelto is Lamborghini’s first plug-hybrid vehicle ever. The Revuelto made its global debut earlier in March this year.
Only a few allocations of the Revuelto have been secured for the Indian market with the first delivery expected in the next few weeks. However, the brand is unlikely to take fresh orders as it had announced in June that the model was sold out until 2026.
Lamborghini Revuelto: Powertrain specs
The biggest highlight of this new supercar is its modern and cleaner powertrain. Powering the Revuelto is an all-new 6.5-litre V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of three electric motors and a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The V12 is capable of producing 813.7 bhp and 745 Nm of peak torque itself. Coupled with the hybrid setup the power output jumps up to 1,001 bhp.

Transmission duties are carried out by a new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox getting rid of the archaic single-clutch unit. The two motors mounted on the front axle drive a wheel each whereas the third motor on the rear axle supplies power to the rear wheels, depending on selected driving mode and conditions.
The rear motor also doubles up as the starter motor and generator and supplies energy to the front electric motors via the battery, thus offering all-wheel drive capabilities. The gearbox is mounted behind the V12 engine transversely to the 3.8kWh battery pack, housed within the central ‘transmission’ tunnel, tuned to offer more power than range. As a result, Revuelto offers an electric-only range of just 10km.
As for performance, Revuelto can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in a claimed 2.5 seconds. The hybrid supercar can clock a top speed of 350 kmph.
Lamborghini Revuelto: Design & Chassis
Although Revuelto is completely new underneath, it retains signature styling cues which makes it unmistakably a Lamborghini. Signature Y-shaped motifs are seen in LED elements in headlights, and taillamps, and air intakes with massive Y-shaped enclosures. Similar Y-shaped patterns are also visible on the massive 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Another big highlight is the high-mounted, hexagonal twin exhaust setup.

The side fins, located behind the front wheel arches, channel the airflow along the sides and the pronounced concavities of the doors to the side air intakes. Other visual highlights include iconic scissor doors, and wedge-shaped creases on the bonnet. A significant departure from the Aventador is a new aeronautics-inspired chassis, made of carbon fibre that result in feather-like weight.
Lamborghini Revuelto: Interiors & Features
The carbon fibre treatment is carried over to the cabin interiors of Revuelto with a familiar Y-shaped theme in the dashboard and centre console. There are three screens in place— an 8.4-inch central vertical touchscreen, a 9.1-inch display for the passenger, and a third 12.3-inch display for the instrument cluster.

The safety suite is packed with ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane change and departure warnings, and rear cross traffic alert. All critical information can be accessed including the fuel level, battery charge, electric range, and location, via Lamborghini’s Unica smartphone app. Lamborghini is offering a range of customisation options, which can be further enhanced via the company’s Ad Personam division.
