Indian cricketer KL Rahul has been spoken about when it comes to his selection of cars and what he owns. The latest to make headlines is his new Land Rover Defender 110, the five-door version for those who’re not familiar, bearing a price tag of Rs 1.19 crore onwards, ex-showroom.
As per sources, the Defender 110 could be powered by a 3.0-litre diesel engine that makes 296bhp and 650Nm of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, while it can go anywhere.
KL Rahul’s car collection
KL Rahul has several other exotic cars and the Defender is not the only Land Rover he owns, as the 4X4 shared the garage with a Range Rover Velar. The particular model he owns is not clear, however, it is believed that he owns the 5.0-litre supercharged version that makes 543bhp and 680Nm of torque. Sticking to SUVs, the next vehicle in his garage is a BMW X5, powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8.
Moving on to two-seaters, the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is a car we must stress, as the Huracan series has been one of the best-sellers, if not the best, for the carmaker globally. The convertible Huracan is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 that makes 602bhp and 560Nm of torque. Another two-seater in his garage is an Aston Martin DB11, a rare car in India. The DB11 is powered by a 5.2-litre V12 that develops 503bhp and 675Nm of torque via an 8-speed DCT gearbox.
It’s not all SUVs and two-seaters as the next car has two doors, but four seats, a Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG. Being his first car, the cricketer should have a special place in his heart for the saloon, as the 3.0-litre V6 engine makes 385bhp and has a top speed of 250kmph.
