The Kia Carens Clavis is an interesting vehicle, as it takes a good product a notch higher. The Clavis is longer than the Carens, but is based on the same platform and gets major design updates in terms of a new DRL/headlight layout, connected tail lamps, new alloy wheels, and more. The interior has seen a major refresh as well, and the Clavis gets dual TFT screens, ventilated seats, power-adjustable seats, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
The Hyundai Alcazar saw a refresh in recent times and it now stands out compared to the Hyundai Creta, which was not the case earlier. Similar to the platform, both vehicles share the engines as well. The Carens Clavis and the Alcazar come with a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. They make identical power and torque, while they differ slightly with the gearbox options. The Carens Clavis also has the option of a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine.
