Kia Carens Clavis EV: Expected Design

The upcoming Kia Clavis EV is expected to closely resemble its ICE counterpart in terms of overall design, based on the latest spy shots. While the exterior silhouette remains largely unchanged, the EV version will feature distinct touches such as exclusive badging and newly designed aero-optimized alloy wheels. At the front, it is likely to sport a set of triple-pod LED headlamps housed in a sharp triangular enclosure, sleek LED DRLs, a sealed-off grille, and subtle styling enhancements that differentiate it from the internal combustion model.

Kia Carens Clavis EV: Battery & Motor specs

The upcoming Kia Clavis EV is expected to be underpinned by the same platform as the Hyundai Creta Electric, suggesting a shared electric powertrain and battery setup. The Creta EV currently offers two battery pack options — a 42kWh and a larger 51.4kWh unit.

The 42kWh variant is paired with a 135hp electric motor, offering an estimated driving range of 390km on a full charge. Meanwhile, the 51.4kWh battery version comes mated to a more powerful 171hp motor and delivers a higher range of up to 473km. It is highly likely that the Clavis EV will mirror these specifications, offering similar performance and range capabilities.
