Kia India has announced a booking milestone for its newly launched Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV models. The two models have already achieved 21,000 bookings, combined, catering to both family-focused ICE buyers and eco-conscious EV adopters. The Kia Carens Clavis ICE is priced at Rs 11.49 lakh while the Kia Carens Clavis EV is priced at Rs 17.99 lakh onwards, both ex-showroom.
Kia Carens Clavis bookings break down
Kia recorded 20,000 bookings for Carens Clavis and 1000 bookings for Carens Clavis EV in four months. The MPV offers second row sliding, reclining, and one-touch electric tumble seats, and a segment-first Boss Mode for easy third-row access.
The Clavis offers a premium, tech-forward cabin with dual panoramic 26.62cm (12.3”) displays integrating infotainment and driver information, a Bose 8-speaker system, 64-colour ambient lighting, dual dashcam, and a climate control/infotainment swap switch.
The Clavis EV gets an efficient 171 PS motor that makes 255 Nm of torque. The seven-seater EV brings a similar experience to the Carens Clavis ICE model with a 67.62 cm dual panoramic display, 90 connected car features, and intuitive controls.
Clavis EV is available in two battery options—51.4 kWh (ARAI-certified 490 km range – MIDC Full) and 42 kWh (ARAI-certified 404 km range – MIDC Full). It supports fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes via a 100 kW DC charger.
Both ICE and EV variants are equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) offering over 20 autonomous safety features. Additionally, it has a comprehensive passive safety package that includes 18 features such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Rear Occupant Alert, and a 360-degree surround view monitor.
