JSW MG Motor India launched the E20-compliant MG Hector starting from Rs 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Based on the Government of India’s mandate for E20 compliance in petrol-fuelled vehicles manufactured post-April 1, 2025, JSW MG has begun rolling out the production of E20 Hector since March 31, 2025.

JSW MG Hector: Specifications and Features
The Hector is available in two engine options — the 1.5-litre turbo petrol and the 2-litre diesel. The petrol powertrain has an output of 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It offers two transmission options — a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic. The 2-litre diesel, on the other hand, is sourced from Stellantis and makes 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque and is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Ever since the Hector made its debut in India in 2019, the SUV has come with many segment-first features like a 14-inch portrait infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, over 70 connected car features, and Level 2 ADAS. It is also India’s first Internet SUV.
