Isuzu has finally unveiled the production version of the D-Max EV which broke cover at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand in March last year. While on the surface, the D-Max EV looks just as same but underneath it’s very different as its fossil-fueled namesake. Production for the fully-electric pickup truck has commenced in Thailand.
At the same time, Isuzu has also unveiled the all-electric D-Max in Europe and the United Kingdom. The Europe-spec D-Max EV with a left-hand driven configuration will be built in Thailand and will reach designated markets in the third quarter of 2025.
On the other hand, production of the right-hand drive D-MAX EV is set to begin by the end of this year, with sales in the UK expected to commence in 2026. The model will be introduced in other countries and regions according to market demand. The battery-powered pickup truck has made its debut at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show (CV Show), held at NEC Birmingham.
