The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar has been launched with an introductory price of Rs 14.99 lakh. This three-row SUV comes in two powertrain options: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel, both available with manual and automatic transmissions. The turbo petrol version is priced from Rs 14.99 lakh, while the diesel version starts at Rs 15.99 lakh. There are four variants on offer. The Alcazar provides two seating configurations: a 6-seater with Captain’s chairs and a 7-seater option. It boasts cutting-edge safety features and several first-in-segment innovations. Bookings for the Alcazar are currently open for a token of Rs 25,000. It is set to compete with the likes of the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and the Mahindra XUV700.
Hyundai Alcazar: Design
The 2024 Alcazar is based on Hyundai’s global design language with a split headlight cluster and H-shaped connected LED DRLs. The signature quad-beam headlamps are all-LED, the hood sports additional character lines while the front fascia comes with an all-blacked out front grille with a new skid plate. It now gets all-LED sequential indicators
The Alcazar update gets an all-new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheel with dual-tone painted cladding. At the rear design, the SUV features a new spoiler with an integrated stop lamp along with a new bumper and skid plate design. It now comes with all-new connected LED taillamps.

Hyundai Alcazar: Interiors
The Alcazar gets dual-tone noble brown and haze navy interiors. The 6-seater variant features ventilated captain seats in the second row with folding armrests creating a passage to the third row. The 7-seater variant offers a seat tumble mechanism for easy ingress/egress to the third row. The SUV is packed with segment-first features like thigh cushion extension, first and second-row ventilated seats, wing-type headrests, an 8-way power driver and an 8-way power passenger seat with a memory function for the driver seat.

Hyundai Alcazar: Features
The three-row SUV features a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Hyundai is offering a one-year complimentary subscription to JioSaavn, in-built navigation along with a multi-language user interface display (10 regional & 2 international languages) and dual-zone automatic climate control with touch buttons.

Both the 6 and 7-seater variants come with rain-sensing wipers, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, first and second rows get a wireless charger, a magnetic pad and a lot more.
The Alcazar is the first vehicle in its segment to be equipped with a digital key with NFC tech.
With a tap of the smartphone or smartwatch against the door handle, the door locks or unlocks effortlessly. It also comes with a wireless charger pad in the front for the driver or front passenger. The three users can use a Digital Key or can be linked up to seven devices at a time.Â
Hyundai Alcazar: Engine
Hyundai Alcazar is available in two engine options — the 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol has an output of 157 bhp and 253 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel churns out 114 bhp with 250 Nm of torque. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter.
