It was recently confirmed that Hyundai will be launching the Creta N Line in India on 11 March 2024. The Korean carmaker has teased the sportier mid-size on its social media handles ahead of its launch next month. It will be the third N Line model from Hyundai after i20 N Line and Venue N Line.
Like the other N Line models, the Creta N Line is expected to don a sportier styling even though it will remain unchanged. In its second generation, Creta received a major facelift earlier in January this year which witnessed significant styling upgrades and some feature additions. The facelifted Creta has reportedly received over 50,000 bookings till date.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Expected styling, features
While recent teasers do not reveal anything about the Creta N Line’s styling but going by previous N Line models, it is expected to feature sportier highlights such as red inserts on front grille, lower bumper, and side skirts. It will get disc brakes with red callipers on all four wheels. Speaking of wheels, the machine-cut alloys are expected to be larger and differently designed from the ones on the regular Creta.
The Creta N Line will be finished in the familiar Thunder Blue colour scheme. Compared to the regular Creta, the N Line should get a few mechanical updates like small tweaks to the suspension, steering, and exhaust. This will result in sportier handling compared to the standard Crerta, while also sounding throatier, adding to the sporty exterior of the vehicle.
The sportier highlights will be carried forward inside the cabin as well with an all-black theme and contrast highlights such as the red stitching on the upholstery, door trims, and steering wheel cover. Further, metallic pedals with aluminium finish will enhance the premium appeal.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Expected powertrain specs
Hyundai is likely to offer Creta N Line exclusively with a 1.5-litre turbo-charged petrol engine that cranks 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. In the standard Creta, this motor is only available with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, however, with the N Line version this power mill will also be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission that enhances driver engagement.
