Hyundai Creta is not just the best-selling SUV in India but also one of the highest selling cars in the Indian passenger vehicle market. First introduced in the country in 2015, Creta received its first major upgrade in 2020. The next significant set of updates for Creta is around the corner.

The Creta facelift which has already made its debut in a few international markets, is set for launch in India soon. Test mules of the updated Creta have been spotted on Indian roads on several occasions over the last few months. Recently, another set of spy shots of the facelifted Creta surfaced on the internet.

Hyundai Creta facelift: Expected styling updates

Despite being heavily wrapped, the test mule reveals a few visual details about the upcoming iteration Creta. For starters, the front fascia looks completely revamped courtesy of redesigned grille and LED headlamps. Also, the nose appears to be flatter than the current model. On a closer glance, one can also spot an ADAS sensor mounted on the front bumper.

Side profile remains largely unchanged barring the newly designed 5-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear end gets redesigned LED taillamps similar to the ones in Exter and a reprofiled bumper. Other visual highlights include A-pillar mounted ORVMs, shark-fin antenna, and roof rails.

Hyundai Creta facelift: Expected features

Previous spy shots of Creta have revealed significant details regarding the cabin interiors of the upcoming Creta. While the layout is expected to remain similar to the outgoing model, Hyundai is expected to add more features to the equipment. These include wireless phone charger, a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and ventilated front seats, fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, etc.

Safety features will include six airbags as standard, a 360-degree parking camera, and Level 2 ADAS technology.
