Creta is one of the primary breadwinners for Hyundai in India. Not only volume, but the compact C-segment SUV also generates quite a bit of frenzy on social media. Hyundai wants to capitalise on the ‘Creta’ brand name and hence it is developing an all-electric version of the same to cater to the rising demands for EVs globally.
Test mules of the Creta EV have been spotted on multiple occasions in the past few months. It was recently spied again, this time the spy shots revealing details of the electric SUV’s interiors for the first time. The latest set of spy images show a camouflaged test mule of Creta revealing crucial visual details of the upcoming battery-powered SUV.
Hyundai Creta EV spied: Exterior highlights
The previous and latest set of spy shots confirm that the exterior design will be in line with its ICE-powered sibling. It should be noted that the Creta received a major facelift earlier in January this year, and the all-electric version will carry forward the same visual elements as the standard Creta.
These include an identical front fascia featuring the jewel-theme grille flanked by a split lighting setup with dual-projector LED headlamps, and twin LED DRLs each side on top. The side profile and rear end are also expected to borrow the same layout as the current Creta. What’s different though are the alloy wheels design, which receive a dual-tone machine cut on the 17-inch unit.

The all-electric Creta gets the same two-spoke steering with multiple control buttons but one distinct feature noticed is the drive selector mounted on the steering column. That said, most of the dashboard was under wraps and details can only be confirmed once we get a proper view of the same.
