Hyundai Creta isn’t just the best-selling SUV in the country over the last decade but also one of the highest-selling passenger vehicles (PV) during this period. The compact C-segment continues to dominate the Indian car market becoming the best-selling model in the first seven months of 2025.
The Korean carmaker has sold 1,17,458 units of Creta from January to July 2025 with a year-on-year growth of 8% (vs Jan-Jul 2024), making it the highest-selling PV during this period. These numbers also include the Creta Electric launched earlier this year. Interestingly, the Creta recently marked its 10th anniversary in India since it was first launched in India in 2015.
Reflecting on this occasion, Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “As we celebrate a decade of the Hyundai Creta, we are truly humbled by the unwavering love and trust of our customers. Becoming India’s best-selling car across all segments in the January – July 2025 period is not just a sales milestone, it reflects the emotional connect Creta has built over the years.”
