Hyundai has added new variants to the Alcazar range in order to democratise the SUV with more features in the lower end variants. Prior to the latest update, Hyundai offered the Alcazar in four broad trims namely Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature with prices starting from Rs 14.99 lakh and going up to Rs 21.73 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Hyundai Alcazar: What’s new?
In the latest update, Hyundai has introduced a new mid-spec trim to the Alcazar range. The new Corporate trim is slotted between Prestige and Platinum variants. This new trim is solely offered with a diesel powertrain that is available with both manual and automatic transmission options.
The Corporate variant comes with voice enabled panoramic sunroof that was previously offered in the Signature and Platinum trims only. Besides a panoramic sunroof, the Alcazar Corporate trim comes loaded with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless phone charger, dual-zone climate control, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, connected car tech via Hyundai Blue Link, and ambient lighting to name few.

Safety features in the Corporate trim include six airbags, Electronic stability control, Hill-start assist control (HAC), Vehicle stability management (VSM), and more.

In addition to the Corporate trim, Hyundai has also added the option of a dual-clutch automatic gearbox in the petrol variants of the Alcazar Prestige trim. This variant is priced at Rs 18.63 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable Alcazar variant with an automatic gearbox.

Hyundai Alcazar Powertrain specs
Hyundai offers two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both engine options offer a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. The turbo petrol engine gets a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission whereas the oil burner offers a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The petrol mill kicks out 158bhp and 253Nm while the diesel unit churns out 114 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.
