Honda introduces Amaze Privilege edition with new infotainment and navigation

Honda has announced a special edition of their compact sedan, the Amaze. They are calling it the Privilege edition. For the privilege, excuse the pun, what you essentially get is their top of the line  S(O) model with a  few touches on the inside some livery on the panels and, a badge. Now if you’re in the Market for a compact sedan and you’ve had your eye on the Amaze. This limited edition might be the one you want to get. It does cost about Rs 10,000 extra but for the price, you do get a whole lot of goodies. For starters, you get Honda’s new DIGIPAD infotainment system which has audio, video and navigation. It also gets 1.5Gb of inbuilt memory.  You also get a central armrest for the driver, beige seat covers and some graphic vinyl. The Amaze also gets rear parking sensors which are a boon in city conditions. The Amaze may not have had the best run since its launch, they’ve sold 2.4 lakh units since its launch in April 2013. Which works out to a very commendable 4000 unit a month. What they’ve essentially added some great features at a really hard to beat price. The additional 10,000 brings the grand total to INR 648,888 for the Petrol Privilege and INR 773,631 for the Diesel Privilege edition.

All in all based on the price we’d say the privilege edition is a sales driver, but in terms of sales drivers it’s a pretty good one from Honda.
