Honda has showcased two new electric vehicle (EV) concepts at the ongoing CES 2024 currently underway in Las Vegas, USA. Named “0 series”, the new range of EVs are being developed with a new approach – Thin, Light, and Wise for the global markets. The Japanese carmaker also premiered the new H logo to be used exclusively for next-gen EVs.
Christened as “Saloon” and “Space-Hub”, production-spec models of these concepts are slated to make their global debuts in 2026 which will go on sale in North America first followed by other international markets. The new 0 series will help Honda fulfil its goal of becoming a 100% fully-electric brand by 2040.
Honda 0 series new core values
The next-gen EVs from Honda will be based on a new approach with three pillars– Thin, Light, and Wise. The Thin, Light and Wise approach signifies aerodynamic performance with a thin EV platform underneath that is light to ensure spirited and sporty driving experience which is amplified by original software to showcase Honda’s carmaking prowess and intelligent technologies.

These pillars stand on five core values— ‘artistic design’ that evokes resonance; AD/ADAS that ensures safety and peace of mind; space for people made possible by the internet of things and connected technologies; joy of driving with the feeling of oneness with the vehicle; and outstanding electricity efficiency performance.
Honda 0 series Saloon, Space-Hub concepts
The Saloon is the flagship concept model of the Honda 0 Series which is based on a dedicated EV architecture that elevates the M/M concept in the era of EVs. It gets a low height, sporty styling which highlights the performance-driven approach in its design. Another interesting highlight is an instrument panel featuring a human-machine interface (HMI) that enables simple and intuitive operations.
Honda has equipped the Saloon concept with steer-by-wire and an advanced version of the motion management system, including posture control. It makes use of sustainable materials for its interior and exterior.

On the other hand, the Space-Hub concept was developed under the theme of “augmenting people’s daily lives.” A preview to a prospective MPV or van, Space-Hub offers a flexible space that immediately accommodates what the users want to do.
