Hyundai has announced its new product onslaught for India which includes 26 models introduced between now and the end of 2030. This includes all-new models, generation upgrades as well as mid-cycle facelift of existing models. Let us look at five such important models from Hyundai that will make their way to the Indian passenger vehicle market in the next 2-3 years.
Second-gen Hyundai Venue
The second-gen Venue will be the first big launch from Hyundai under this new product strategy. Already in the final stages of development, the new Hyundai Venue will most likely make its debut around the festive season this year, followed by a market launch early next year.

Test mules of the sub-compact SUV have been spied on multiple occasions over the past year or so. The new-gen Venue is expected to undergo a radical design change over its predecessor and expected to be accompanied by a bunch of feature upgrades and possibly new engine options.
Hyundai Bayon
Hyundai will launch a new subcompact crossover named Bayon based on the same platform as i20. Internally codenamed BC4i, Hyundai Bayon will compete against Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. Expected to make its India debut in the second half of 2026, the Bayon is likely to be priced between Rs 9-12 lakh (ex-showroom). It is also expected to be the first Hyundai model to come with a new 1.2-litre hybrid petrol engine.

Hyundai electric hatchback
Hyundai is working on an all-new electric hatchback, internally codenamed HE1i, which is expected to debut by late 2026. This will be the brand’s first mass-market EV based on a skateboard platform, with a targeted price range of Rs 10–15 lakh to rival models like the Tata Punch EV and Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming compact EV. A broader EV push is planned post-2027–28, including the possible launch of a new mid-size electric SUV built on a cost-effective 400V platform tailored for emerging markets.Â
Next-gen Hyundai Creta
The biggest seller for Hyundai in India, Creta has been a revelation in the compact C-segment of SUVs in India. Currently, in its second generation, Hyundai is reportedly working on a new-gen Creta which is expected to make its debut in February 2028. Codenamed SX3, the new Creta will be offered with a variety of powertrain options including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains.

Hyundai Palisade
Hyundai will bring its global flagship model — Palisade — in India for the first time in 2028. It will also mark Hyundai’s re-entry into the D-segment SUV space after the Santa Fe. The India-spec Palisade will come with a hybrid powertrain most likely featuring a 2.5-litre petrol engine. This SUV is expected to be priced above Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
