Ford is recalling 29,501 vehicles in the U.S. due to a detached control arm that can cause a loss of vehicle steering and control, increasing the risk of a crash, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Saturday.
The automaker is recalling certain 2024-2025 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles, NHTSA said.
Ford: Other recall
Ford has recalled over a million vehicles over a software glitch recently, which causes the rearview camera to malfunction. According to The Associated Press, the rearview camera on Ford models will freeze or delay to display the image when the vehicle is shifted to reverse.
To resolve the issue, Ford will either carry the work through its service centres or over the air, as it is only a software glitch. A total of 1,075,299 Ford vehicles have been affected by this recall. These include the following models:

- 2021-2024 Edge
- 2023-2024 Escape
- 2021-2024 F-150
- 2023-2024 F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600
- 2022-2024 Expedition
- 2022-2025 Transit
- 2021-2023 Mach-E

- 2024 Mustang
- 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus
- 2022-2024 Navigator
- 2023-2024 Corsair
