Citroen India has announced bookings for the Basalt. The SUV coupe is now available at an exclusive introductory starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh, ex-showroom, and this special pricing is valid for all bookings with deliveries till 31st October 2024.

The Citroen Basalt is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine or a turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine. The former makes 81 bhp and 115 Nm of torque with a standard 5-speed manual, while the forced induction unit makes 109 bhp and 190 Nm of torque with the help of a 6-speed manual, and the same engine makes 205 Nm of peak torque with an automatic torque converter.
