The Ambanis are known for their collection of cars, and a couple of years ago, one of the nine Ferraris owned by the family, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, met with an accident. The car is now back, fully rebuilt and back to factory specifications. Here’s the back story of the crash.
Ambanis Ferrari SF90 Stradale: The crash
Back in 2022, pictures emerged of a crashed SF90 Stradale on Mumbai’s Worli Sea Link flyover. The car was quickly traced back to the Ambani family and was towed away on a flatbed. At the time of the crash, it was unknown who the driver was, but the car was accompanied by the Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster and a Ferrari 488 Pista.

The supercar trio was spotted entering the Worli Sea Link flyover and the crash followed. All three cars were seen with just the drivers and no passengers. The crash left the Ferrari mangled, with its entire front section missing. Apart from a few pictures, there was nothing else that surfaced of the car.
Ambanis Ferrari SF90 Stradale: The rebuild
The Ferrari was most likely sent back to Maranello for a complete rebuild. After months of waiting, the car is finally back, finished in Rosso Corsa. There could have been structural damages to the car, but the experts in Italy know what had to be done to get the car road-worthy again.
For those wondering why the Ambanis had to go through this instead of just buying a new car, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale packs more power than the LaFerrari. It is powered by a twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors, making a colossal 986bhp.
