Launched in November 2024, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire saw a massive update. The carmaker launched the sedan in India at Rs 6.79 lakh ex-showroom, and already, Maruti Suzuki has announced a price hike for the all-new Dzire. Select variants of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire have seen prices go up by Rs 10,000. Here are more details.
New Maruti Suzuki Dzire — Price hike
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXi AMT and the ZXi AMT variants have seen the highest increase, which cost Rs 10,000 more, while variants such as the ZXi+ AMT, ZXi CNG MT, VXi CNG MT, VXi MT, and the LXi MT have seen an increase of Rs 5,000. The Dzire ZXi+ MT variant sees no price increase.
That said the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire rivals the newly-launched Honda Amaze and the Hyundai Aura, and carries a price tag between Rs 6.84 lakh and Rs 10.19 lakh, ex-showroom. The Honda Amaze is priced between Rs 8.19 lakh and Rs 11.29 lakh while the Hyundai Aura is priced at Rs 6.54 lakh to Rs 9.11 lakh.
New Maruti Suzuki Dzire — Engine specifications
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is powered by the carmaker’s new 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 80bhp. Gearbox choices include a manual and an AMT. The Dzire is also available in a CNG version.
