We already know that Hyundai is working on a new generation of Venue which is speculated to arrive in India in October this year. Test mules of the subcompact SUV have been spotted on numerous occasions in recent months. Hyundai has extensively developed the car for India roads, hence, India will be one of the first markets where the new Venue will go on sale.

First launched in May 2019, the Venue received a mid-cycle facelift in mid-2022. The new-gen Venue has been spotted testing yet again ahead of its launch, this time revealing new details. While we already know that the exterior of the next-gen Venue will see major ramifications over the current model, we have now got a sneak peek into its interiors.

New Hyundai Venue: Revised Interiors

The latest spy images suggest completely redesigned interiors with a new dashboard layout housing a twin-screen setup which is likely to include a digital driver’s display and a touchscreen infotainment unit— likely to be 10.25-inches each. You also see a sub-woofer integrated on the front part of the dashboard which suggests a new audio system. Under the central touchscreen, one can notice sleeker air-con vents with chrome trims.

Just beneath the vents, the centre console houses a new horizontal HVAC strip featuring physical buttons instead of rotary dials. The other major interior upgrade spotted in the latest spy shots is a new two-spoke steering wheel with new mounted controls. Features like ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera setup, an upgraded Level 2 ADAS suite, etc. are expected to be added to the new-gen Venue.

New Hyundai Venue: New looks

From the previous spy images, it’s clear that the new Venue takes a leaf out of the new Creta. The upcoming Venue features an L-shaped LED DRL that extends down to the front bumper, complemented by a split headlamp setup and a parametric grille. Silver-finished skid plates add a rugged touch, while the rear has been refreshed with new LED tail lamps, a shark-fin antenna, and a bumper-mounted number plate. The SUV also gets a set of newly designed alloy wheels.

Performance seekers can opt for the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol delivering 118 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm between 1,500–4,000 rpm, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
