The temperature is soaring high in the premium hatchback segment as Tata Motors is all set to launch the 2025 Altroz. This will be the first major update for the hatchback since its debut in 2020. In 2024, the Indian automobile manufacturer revved up the segment further with the Altroz Racer with a power-packed 118 bhp 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which is expected to make its debut in the standard lineup. 2025 Tata Altroz: Engine options
The Altroz is the only vehicle in the premium hatchback segment to offer four powertrain options, starting with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 1.2-litre turbo petrol from the Racer, the 1.5-litre diesel and CNG.

2025 Tata Altroz: Exteriors
Tata Motors has made the Altroz’s design sharper with a new all-black grille, along with twin-pod LED headlights with LED DRLs above it. The hatchback sports new dual-tone front bumpers with LED fog lamps. The Altroz is the first hatchback in its class to boast flush door handles and a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The Tata car will continue to offer 90-degree opening doors for easy entry and exit from the cabin. The rear now comes with swanky connected LED taillights that run across the tailgate. It gets a new rear bumper, which now houses the number plate.

2025 Tata Altroz: Interiors
The 2025 Altroz’s cabin is dual-tone, including the dashboard and the new steering wheel. The new upholstery is predominantly beige and comes with newly designed seats. The rear bench gets an extended seat squab with additional thigh support. It gets two new adjustable headrests and an armrest with cupholders. The hatchback comes with a two-spoke flat-bottom illuminated steering wheel with both toggle switches and button controls.
2025 Tata Altroz: Features
The Altroz is packed with features, starting with a class-leading 10.25-inch infotainment system by Harman with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a wireless phone charger. It is also the first hatchback to get a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation map display. The climate control gets a touch button panel. Apart from that, it is equipped with a single panel sunroof, auto folding outside rearview mirrors, driver’s seat with height adjustable function and cruise control.

2025 Tata Altroz: Safety
The Altroz continues to be based on the Alpha Architecture, which earned a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. The hatchback comes with six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, a blind spot screen, a tyre pressure monitoring system and all 3-point seat belts.
