Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the new Altroz soon, and leading up to the big day, the carmaker has been rolling out multiple teasers for the Altroz — from design to the interior. We have seen how the new Altroz looks, briefly seen what the interior has to offer, and speculated about the engine options the hatchback will come with. Now, let’s see more details about the interior of the upcoming Tata Altroz and some of the key changes.

2025 Tata Altroz interior

The upcoming Tata Altroz will offer a more premium feeling inside the car. Going by the teasers, the new Altroz gets a completely redesigned dash, which is also expected to feature soft-touch materials, making it feel more premium. The steering wheel is also new, inspired by the new Tata models that has a digital logo with touch-operated buttons on the steering wheel for various functions.

That said, the next big update will be the infotainment system and the instrument console. The infotainment system is a 10.2-inch unit and eight speakers will take care of the audio duties. The instrument console is also fully digital, with another 10.2-inch TFT screen taking care of all the vital information.

Other interior features will include a voice-activated sunroof, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, AC vents for the rear passengers, six airbags, stability control, ABS, and more. Now, Tata could pull a trump card and introduce ADAS as well, however, not many details are available on this.

2025 Tata Altroz engine specifications

The 2025 Altroz facelift is expected to carry forward the same engine options as before, which include a 1.2-litre 87bhp petrol engine, a 1.2-litre turbocharged 118bhp petrol engine, and an 88bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine. Gearbox choices will include a manual and a DCT, while there will be a CNG option available as well.

The Tata Altroz facelift will be launched on May 22, and will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and the Hyundai i20. All three of the Altroz’s competition are offered with a petrol engine only, along with a CNG option, making the Altroz the only car in the segment to feature a diesel engine.
