Tata Motors has officially unveiled the facelifted Altroz ahead of its market launch slated on May 22. First launched in early 2020, this is the first design overhaul of the premium hatchback. Prior to this, Tata launched different iterations of Altroz including the Altroz iCNG, Altroz iTurbo, and Altroz Racer.

The homegrown carmaker has released official images of the new Altroz which reveal the updated design of the vehicle. The facelifted Altroz will be available in five trims namely Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished +S. Along with design updates, the 2025 Altroz also comes with some new features.

2025 Tata Altroz facelift: Exterior Updates

The updated Tata Altroz features a thoroughly redesigned front end, showcasing a new grille and twin-LED headlamps. This refreshed look aligns more closely with Tata’s contemporary design language, as seen on models like the Nexon, Curvv, Harrier, and Safari. The headlamp units now feature sleeker LED daytime running lights for a more modern appearance.

Tata Motors has also revised both the front and rear bumpers, potentially enhancing the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency. The fog lamps have been repositioned within the front bumper, contributing to a sharper, more aggressive front profile. New alloy wheel designs add to the visual updates, though the car’s overall silhouette remains largely unchanged. One major addition are the new flush fitting door handles.

At the rear, the current wraparound taillamps give way to a connected LED stripe. The company will be offering the Altroz facelift in five distinct colour schemes: Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White.

2025 Tata Altroz facelift: Interiors & Features

As seen in the recent teasers, the Altroz facelift now gets a cleaner dashboard layout borrowed from the likes of Nexon and Curvv. The larger 10.25-inch infotainment system, which is only available in the Altroz Race edition, will now make its way to the standard lineup. Other notable features to be included in the new Altroz are a new 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, an auto-dimming IRVM, an upgraded telematics suite, ambient lighting, and more.

2025 Tata Altroz facelift: Powertrain specs

Under the hood, Tata Motors offers the same set of powertrain options as the outgoing model. This includes a 84 bhp 1.2-litre naturally petrol engine and an 89 bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission choices will comprise a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.
