An updated Kia Carens has been in development for some time now. The MPV in its updated avatar has been spotted testing on numerous occasions over the past year or so. Previously, it was believed to be hitting the roads around the festive season around September or October this year, but the new Carens can actually make its debut much earlier.
As per a recent Cardekho report, select Kia dealerships have started accepting orders for the facelifted Carens, albeit unofficially. Dealerships are accepting pre-bookings for the updated MPV for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The report further claims that this new version of Carens is set to make its debut later this month.Â
We earlier reported that the upcoming Carens will be sold alongside the existing model. This suggests that the new model is expected to carry several cosmetic changes over the existing Carens to distinguish itself from the latter. In fact, the updated model could carry a different identity altogether.

2025 Kia Carens facelift: Exterior design
The updated derivative of Carens retains the same overall profile and silhouette, but it receives a host of styling updates that give it a fresh and distinct appearance compared to the current model. Recent spy shots reveal several exterior changes, including newly designed front and rear bumpers, a revamped front grille, updated alloy wheels, and Kia’s signature Star Map LED elements paired with triangular-shaped headlights.
Previous spy images indicate a more sculpted hoot along with a sleek, modern connected LED taillight setup.
