The sub-4 metre sedan space has largely been a dormant space until recently when Maruti Suzuki and Honda launched the latest generation of Dzire and Amaze, respectively. The other models in this space— Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor— don’t witness significant monthly sales in the consumer market barring fleet operators.
Hyundai has provided a small update to the Aura with a new variant added to the lineup. The new mid-spec Corporate trim of the Aura is slotted between S and SX trims. It is available in both petrol and CNG powertrain options which are priced at Rs 7.48 lakh and Rs 8.47 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively.
Hyundai Aura Corporate: Features & Specs
The new Aura Corporate variant comes with features such as a 6.75-inch touchscreen audio display, 15-inch dual-tone styled steel wheel, LED DRLs, rear wing spoiler, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear AC vents, centre armrest with cup holder for the rear seat, and an exclusive corporate emblem.
Powering Hyundai Aura is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 82bhp and 114 Nm of peak torque. The Corporate variant is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox whereas the higher-spec trims can also be had with a 5-speed AMT. There is also the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit with the same engine which produces 68 bhp and 95 Nm of torque. The CNG variant is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
