BMW has launched the new 3 Series long wheelbase (LWB) in India at a price of Rs 62.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in a single 330Li variant, the BMW 3 Series LWB is being locally assembled at the company facility in Chennai. Currently available in the petrol form only, the diesel-powered variant of the 3 Series LWB will be launched at a later date.
2025 BMW 3 Series LWB: Design & Dimensions
The design of the 2025 3 Series LWB remains intact with prominent highlights the signature BMW kidney grille, adaptive LED headlights, and a high-gloss black rear diffuser. Further, aluminium satinated exterior elements add to its luxury appeal. At 4,819 mm long and a wheelbase of 2,961 mm, make it the longest car in the segment, claiming the most spacious second-row seats. There are four colour options to choose from: Mineral White, Skyscraper grey, M Carbon Black and Arctic Race Blue.

2025 BMW 3 Series LWB: Interiors & Features
The interiors of the 2025 3 Series LWB benefit from Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite finish which enhances the cabin’s premium appeal. The standard M Sport package comes with elements like the M-Sport leather wrapped steering wheel accentuating the sportiness of the cabin.
In terms of equipment, it’s loaded to the gills with features such as the twin-screen BMW curved display embedded with latest iDrive Operating System 8.5 featuring touch, gesture, and voice controls. Other prominent amenities include panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, with active carbon filters optimising air quality, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and a digital key.

Safety is handled by six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Further, the 3 Series LWB comes with BMW Driving Assistant that offers blind-spot detection and collision warnings.
2025 BMW 3 Series LWB: Mechanical specs
Powering the BMW 330Li is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine of 255 bhp and a peak torque of 400 Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. As for performance, the car can accelerate from 0 -100 km/hr in just 6.2 seconds. There are three drive modes to choose from: Eco Pro, Comfort, and Sport.
