Porsche officially broke the cover of the 2024 Panamera E-Hybrid portfolio. The new plug-in hybrids are based on the latest third-generation Panamera which made its debut last year. Porsche has stated that the e-hybrid powertrains are focused on efficiency without sacrificing performance. The Stuttgart-based brand hasn’t mentioned when can the all-electric version of the Panamera be expected.
Here’s all you need to know about the Porsche Panamera e-Hybrid.
Porsche Panamera Hybrid: Engine and Performance
The Panamera E-Hybrid is powered by an upgraded 2.9-litre V6 turbocharged, a 25.9 kWh battery and an electric motor. The hybrid range is available in two variants with different power outputs, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and Panamera 4S E-Hybrid.
The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid has a combined output of 464bhp while in petrol mode it produces 300bhp. The updated powertrain along with the motor churns out eight additional horses. It is capable of doing 0-100 kmph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 280 kmph.
The more powerful the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid belts out 536bhp and in petrol mode, it produces 349bhp. It sprints from a standstill to 100 kmph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 290 kmph.
Porsche Panamera Hybrid: Range and Charging
According to Porsche, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid’s combined electric range is 79km to 93 km WLTP and in town 89 km to 96 km WLTP. The electric range of this trim has increased to 96 km in the WLTP cycle. On the other hand, Panamera 4S E-Hybrid’s combined electric range is 78 km to 90 km while its range in town is 83 km to 92 km WLTP.Â

With the new 11 kW AC charger, the charging time is now down to two hours and 39 minutes. The Panamera E-Hybrid models can recuperate up to 88 kW thanks to its regenerative braking system.
Porsche Panamera Hybrid: Adaptive Suspension
The entire Panamera range including the E-Hybrids comes standard with an adaptive two-chamber air suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with two-valve dampers. The Active Ride suspensions offer a comfortable ride quality by absorbing the bumps while continuing to offer razor-sharp handling capabilities.
Porsche Panamera Hybrid: Features
The Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid range comes standard with standard matrix LED headlights, connected LED taillight and a frameless rear window. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is equipped with 19-inch wheels and matrix LED headlights with an HD matrix LED lighting system as an option. The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid gets 20-inch alloy wheels, silver finish tailpipes and red brake callipers. Brake callipers in Acid Green and Black are optionally available.
The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid brakes with six-piston brake callipers at the front axle as standard, and ten-piston brake callipers are available as an option. Alternatively, the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake is available for this model in conjunction with 21-inch wheels. The ceramic composite discs measure 440 millimetres at the front axle and 410 millimetres at the rear axle.
