The much-awaited launch is done and dusted, as the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift is here, launched at Rs 6.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a host of changes, primarily in the features and equipment department, while it gets subtle design changes to keep it relevant.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift: Design
On the design front, the new Maruti Suzuki Swift gets subtle changes, while its overall silhouette remains the same. It retains its sporty, compact design with a new grille with honeycomb mesh inserts. The side profile remains the same as well, while the rear door handles have now been moved to the door instead of being hidden in the C-pillars.
That said, the Swift gets 15-inch wheels, LED lighting, and alloy wheels, and will now be available in nine new shades, including two new shades: Blue and Orange.

The new Swift gets a black dash with a new free-floating infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, a 6-speaker audio system, navigation, over 40 connected car features, rear AC vents, a semi-digital instrument console, and more.Â

The biggest update in terms of features is in the safety department, as the new Maruti Suzuki Swift gets 6 airbags as standard for the first time. Alongside the airbags, other safety features include ABS with EBD, stability control, ISOFIX seat anchors, and more.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift: Engine specs
The new Swift gets a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine, replacing the older 1.2-litre 4-cylinder K-Series unit. The engine makes 80bhp and 112Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT unit. Maruti Suzuki has also managed to extract a mileage of 24.8 kmpl with the manual version and 24.75 kmpl with the AMT version.
