India’s top-selling sedan, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, is poised to solidify its market dominance with the anticipated debut of its new generation in August. According to the June 2024 car sales report, the Dzire ranks as the seventh most successful vehicle in the country, boasting a significant 40 per cent year-on-year increase. The sedan will be an entirely new model, and the company plans to launch it ahead of the festive season.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Exterior
Like the previous-generation Dzire, the new sedan will be based on the Swift’s Heartech platform. Based on the spy images of the Dzire test mule, Maruti Suzuki has tweaked its design to differentiate it from the Swift. The front grille houses prominent horizontal slates instead of the Swift’s honeycomb. The new Dzire is expected to sport new headlights, bumpers and a new set of alloy wheels. It will interesting to see the design of the rear with a brand new boot.Â
