Hyundai has announced the debut of the 2024 Alcazar for September 9. The South Korean carmaker has released images of the updated Alcazar’s exterior and commenced bookings for the three-row SUV at Rs 25,000 across all Hyundai dealerships in the country. Below are the key exterior features of the refreshed Alcazar.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Font fascia
The Alcazar boasts a fresh facade, drawing inspiration from the Creta N Line. It features a striking all-black radiator grille with three horizontal slats and a split headlight design. The H-shaped LED DRLs are complemented by a connected LED light bar and twin rectangular-shaped LED headlights. Enhancing its robust appearance, the Alcazar is adorned with a chrome-finished frame on the front bumper and silver-coloured skid plates.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Side Profile
The facelifted Alcazar receives minimal design updates on the sides but now features brand-new alloy wheels. Hyundai has increased the wheel size from 17-inch to 18-inch diamond-cut rims for the top variant. Additionally, the Alcazar is equipped with new roof rails and, for extra protection, side plates.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Rear design
Hyundai has revamped the read design with twin vertical LED tail lamps connected to an LED strip. It also gets a dark chrome finish band above the rear lights and a chunky frame on the rear bumper. It also sports a dual-tip muffler exhaust.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Engine Options
The Alcazar will be available in two engine options — a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Hyundai has decided to skip the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol in the Creta. The turbo will be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel, on the other hand, is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Variants and Colour Options
Hyundai will offer four variants in the Alcazar lineup — Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The three-row SUV will be available in nine colour options including the new Robust Emerald Matte.
