Based on the Creta, the Alcazar’s cabin’s design is inspired by its sibling. To give it a premium look, the interiors sport a dual-tone Noble Brown and Haze Navy colour combination. The Alcazar facelift gets twin 10.25-inch displays — an infotainment system and the driver’s instrument cluster. The centre console is glossy black and houses the climate control system while the transmission console is in contrasting metal grey in colour.

The Alcazar now offers a feature enabling the second-row passenger to electronically adjust the front passenger seat to enhance legroom. Additionally, the SUV boasts an array of features; in the 6-seater variant, both the front and the second-row captain seats are ventilated, whereas in the 7-seater, only the front seats offer this comfort. The Alcazar is also equipped with brand-new, extra-cushioned seats. For added convenience, the second row’s USB port and other charging facilities have been relocated behind the front armrest, adjacent to the rear AC vents.

The SUV will come with Level 2 ADAS like the Creta, a 360-degree blind spot monitor, six airbags as standard, emergency stop signal and much more. It will retain the panoramic sunroof, rear window curtains and a premium music system.

Hyundai Alcazar: Engines

The Alcazar will be available in two engine options — the 1.5-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel. Unlike the Creta, the Alcazar will not be available with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol powertrain. The 1.5-litre turbo pumps out 158 bhp and 253 Nm. The Alcazar will come in either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission option. Currently, the manual gearbox is only available in the Creta N Line and not in the standard version. The diesel produces 114 bhp and 250 Nm and is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter automatic.
