Audi has finally launched its facelifted iteration of the Q8 in India at a starting price of Rs 1.17 crore (ex-showroom). This is the first major update to the flagship SUV ever since it was first introduced in the Indian market back in 2020. The updated Q8 costs Rs 10 lakh more than the outgoing model.
Bookings for the new Q8 are currently underway for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. Reservations for the same can be made through Audi India’s website or myAudi Connect.
2024 Audi Q8: Updated exteriors
In its latest avatar, the Q8 gets mostly cosmetic and some feature updates over the outgoing model. Starting with the exterior, the new Q8 gets a redesigned front face featuring a new blacked-out octagonal front grille with honeycomb mesh internals. The grille is flanked by sleeker Matrix LED headlamps with integrated pixelated LED DRLs and an X-shaped design.

A similar pixelated treatment has been carried over the connected LED taillamps with a thin LED stripe across the tailgate. The SUV rolls on new R21 alloy wheels with a five-spoke design in graphite grey. The addition of red brake callipers to the alloys gives the car a nice sporty contrast. Further, it makes use of dark elements such as blacked-out wheels, front and rear bumpers, tinted greenhouse, and smoked treatment on headlamp and taillamp clusters.
The overall design, however, remains unchanged. The new Q8 is available in eight colour schemes namely Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige and an exclusive new shade of Sakhir Gold.
2024 Audi Q8: Interiors & updated features
Cabin interiors of the new Q8 gets more or less a similar layout as the pre-facelift model with the highlight being the twin MMI touchscreen setup. Customers can opt from four interior colour options including Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Gray. The cabin is now equipped with advanced aero-acoustics ensuring better NVH levels.

Other feature highlights include a digital instrument cluster, a new 4-zone climate control, multi-colour ambient lighting. electrically adjustable seats with heating, ventilation, a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, eight airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera with Park Assist, electrical tailgate, built-in third-party music apps (Spotify, Amazon Music) and massage functions, etc.
2024 Audi Q8: Powertrain specs
Powering the Q8 facelift is a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This powertrain pushes out 335 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are carried out by an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox sending power to all four wheels.

As for performance, the full-size luxury SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds and can clock a top speed of 250 kmph.
