Yo Bykes today unveiled its new high-speed electric scooter— Yo TRUST Drift Hx— in Ahmedabad. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to providing eco-friendly and innovative solutions to the growing demands of the Indian market.
The Yo TRUST-Drift Hx model was unveiled at a special event in the presence of the Managing Director and CEO of Yo Bykes. This latest addition to Yo Bykes’ portfolio underscores the company’s dedication to revolutionising the electric two-wheeler industry and addressing critical concerns related to reducing carbon footprint in the country.
Speaking on the sidelines of the latest launch, Pradeep Kawdiya, CEO, Yo Bykes Pvt. Ltd., shared exciting plans for the future expressing, “Yo Bykes is gearing up to introduce a comprehensive range of low-speed and high-speed electric vehicles in the upcoming financial year. This strategic expansion aims not only to strengthen the product portfolio but also to boost overall vehicle sales.”
Yo Trust Drift Hx: Specs & features
Powering the Trust Drift Hx is a 2.5kW BLDC motor which derives its energy from a 2.65 kW lithium-ion battery pack. This powertrain returns a claimed range of 100 km on a single charge. As for performance, this scooter can clock a top speed of 65 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds. Using a 180-265V AC charger, it takes 4-5 hours for the battery to rejuvenate.
Weighing 95 kg, the Trust Drift Hx sits on telescopic front forks and a swingarm-linked rear mono-shock. Stopping duties are carried out by 130mm front and rear drum brakes aided by CBS. In terms of features, automatic headlamp, multiple riding modes, mobile charging socket, and reverse mode.
