Yamaha India launched the R15M with a Carbon Fibre Pattern graphic at Rs 2.08 lakh, ex-showroom. The Carbon Fibre Pattern is inspired by the flagship R1M’s carbon body work. Yamaha had earlier showcased the R15M Carbon Fibre Pattern edition at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024.
At the launch, Eishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies said, “Since its launch in 2008, the R15 has embodied class leading performance and has enabled numerous consumers in India to experience the joy of riding a SuperSport motorcycle with thoroughbred Yamaha Racing DNA. The young consumers in India are well versed with our international models and the lineage, styling and technology that percolates into the R15 from the R1 has also been significantly recognised and appreciated by them.”
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fibre: Features
The R15M gets new design tweaks with new carbon fibre pattern on the front cowl, sides fairing, and the flanks of the rear side panels.
To enhance the road presence of the newly launched R15 M Carbon Fibre edition, Yamaha has used water-dipping technology for world class finish. Apart from these new additions, the Yamaha motorcycle gets an all-black fender, new decals on the tank and sides fairing along with blue wheels at both ends.
The R15M Carbon Fibre edition is equipped with a Turn-by-Turn Navigation feature and with Y-Connect Application available Play Store and App Store, one has access to riding and music & volume control function.
The new motorcycle has an upgraded switchgear and a new LED license plate light for the convenience of the user.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fibre: Engine Specs
The Yamaha R15M features a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with Assist and Slipper Clutch.
The updated Yamaha R15M is priced at Rs 1.98 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. It receives a fully digital TFT Riders console with Bluetooth connectivity and comes standard in silver colour.
