Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. (WIML), an Indian EV manufacturer under the brands ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik,’ has entered into a strategic partnership with XiCon International Ltd., a Mumbai-based engineering and manufacturing company and a subsidiary of Kaiser Corporation.

Under the MoU, XiCon will lease 7,500 units of Wardwizard’s Wolf+ electric scooters to bolster last-mile delivery services across key Indian cities including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune. The partnership marks XiCon’s official entry into the electric mobility sector and reinforces its ongoing diversification efforts in power, telecom, and infrastructure. The deployment of these electric scooters will begin in the 2025-26 financial year and continue through 2026-27.

Enhancing EV ecosystem and urban mobility

In addition to providing the scooters, Wardwizard will offer full technical support including batteries, spare parts, and maintenance services. Service centers and stores will be co-branded, further strengthening brand visibility and consumer engagement. Demo units will also be made available for promotional initiatives.

Operational responsibilities such as fleet allocation, partnerships with delivery platforms, app development, and marketing campaigns will be handled by XiCon. Both companies will jointly conduct training programs for riders, ensuring safe and efficient usage.

Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, stated, “At Wardwizard, we are committed to accelerating the adoption of electric mobility in India through strategic partnerships and innovative business models. Our association with XiCon International is a significant step toward building a robust ecosystem for last-mile connectivity powered by clean energy. By offering reliable and scalable EV solutions, we aim to not only support delivery services but also contribute to India’s larger goal of sustainable urban mobility. We are starting with some major cities and are sure to expand to further cities by the end of this year”

This alliance is poised to accelerate the adoption of EVs in commercial logistics and further Wardwizard’s mission to build a greener, smarter transportation future for India. It also signals growing confidence among Indian manufacturers in the viability and scalability of electric mobility solutions.
