Suzuki seems to be busy updating its scooter lineup. After launching the new Access at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, the Japanese brand is working on its next-best-selling scooter, the Burgman Street 125, as a test mule has been spotted under heavy camo.
New Suzuki Burgman Street 125 — What do the images reveal?
The most visible update is the design, as Suzuki seems to have tweaked the front and rear sections of the Burgman Street 125 to make it look sharper. The front apron looks more muscular than the current version of the scooter and the rear looks sharper and sportier. The design from the side also seems different compared to the model currently on sale.
Apart from design changes, the new Burgman Street 125 is expected to get more features while retaining the aspects that made the scooter a success in India, primarily the maxi scooter design. The existing model is sold in a total of three variants — Standard, Ride Connect, and EX. The former two versions rode on 10-inch wheels while the range-topping EX version rides on 12-inch wheels.
Powering the vehicle is an OBD-2B compliant 124cc air-cooled engine. The motor makes 8.5bhp and 10Nm of torque with the help of a CVT gearbox. The updated version will most likely retain the same engine. Also, expect a slight price bump compared to the current Burgman 125’s Rs 95,800 price tag.
