Honda has launched the 2025 Dio 125 in India, priced at Rs 96,749, ex-showroom. The 2025 Honda Dio 125 is almost Rs 9,000 more compared to the older model, and for the price, the Dio 125 gets some minor updates visually and a major mechanical update. Here are more details.
2025 Honda Dio 125 — What’s new?
The 2025 Honda Dio 125 retains its familiar design — sporty and sharp. It retains design elements such as the headlight mounted on the lower front apron, blinkers on either side of the apron, and the DRL on the upper handlebar section. The new Honda Dio 125 will be available in five colour options: Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, and Imperial Red.
That said, the hardware also remains the same, which includes telescopic front forks, a monoshock at the rear, 12-inch wheels, a disc brake at the front, a drum brake for the rear, LED lighting, alloy wheels, and a combined braking system. The instrument console is a digital unit, and the updated Dio 125 carries forward the H-smart key and gets a side-stand cut-off sensor.
Powering the scooter is the same 125cc single-cylinder engine, however, it is now OBD-2B compliant. The engine makes 8.16bhp and a torque of 10.4Nm of peak torque with the help of a CVT gearbox. In the segment, the new Honda Dio 125 competes with the TVS Ntorq 125, Yamaha RayZR 125, Suzuki Avenis 125, and the Hero Xoom 125.
