The TVS RTX 300 adventure motorcycle is a hot topic right now as TVS has been a major player in the off-road competition segment and has no adventure bike on offer. The upcoming TVS RTX 300 will be the company’s first ADV on offer and has been spied testing in a few occasions. Now, a clear picture has surfaced, snapped at the Bharat Mobility Expo!
New TVS RTX 300 adventure motorcycle — New details
The 300cc adventure bike from TVS gets an aggressive front design with split headlights while featuring a typical adventure bike front fairing, mounted high. The tank shrouds blend in quite neatly, while the front gets a high beak and a tyre-hugging front fender. The spilt-seat design and the up-swept exhaust complete the adventure look of the RTX 300.
The motorcycle will be built around a trellis frame, suspended by USD forks at the front, a monoshock at the rear, and cast alloy wheels. The front gets a 19-inch wheel, and the alloy wheels on the bike suggest that this version will be more road-oriented. Other features will include ride-by-wire technology, a TFT instrument console with phone connectivity, navigation, and a whole suite of electronic nannies tweaked for the motorcycle in particular.
TVS RTX 300 — Engine specifications
Powering the new RTX 300 adventure bike will be the company’s new 300cc liquid-cooled engine that was launched at TVS MotoSoul. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The road-focused RTX – pictured above – is expected to be launched sometime in mid-2025, while the more hardcore off-road-focused RTX 300 with a 21-inch front wheel is expected to be launched towards the last quarter of this calendar year. When launched, it will compete with the KTM 250 Adventure and the BMW G 310 GS.
