Triumph launched its first made-in-India product in the form of Speed 400 earlier in July this year. Priced at Rs 2.33 lakh, the first 10,000 bookings were awarded a discount of Rs 10,000 which translated to an effective price of Rs 2.23 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).

As part of the year-ending scheme, the iconic British motorcycle brand has now extended this offer till the end of this year. The special offer will end on 31 December 2023 until when the neo-retro roadster can be bought at Rs 2.23 lakh. From 1 January 2024, the price will revert back to Rs 2.33 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Inspired by Triumph Speed Twin 900 and Speed Twin 1200, the Speed 400 is the most affordable motorcycle in Triumph’s lineup. The bike, along with its sibling– Speed 400X, has been developed by Triumph at its UK-based technical research centre and manufactured by Bajaj at its Chakan-based facility in Maharashtra.

Since the launch of the Speed 400 in July 2023,Triumph has expanded its presence to over 50 Triumph World Showrooms across 40+ cities nationwide. Serving a vibrant community of over 20,000 delighted customers, Triumph has set ambitious plans for dealership expansion, aiming to reach 80 cities by April 2024.
Triumph Speed 400 specs
Speed 400 is powered by a 398.15 cc, liquid-cooled, 4 valve, DOHC, single-cylinder engine that pushes out 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
The Speed 400 is built on a hybrid spine/perimeter, tubular steel frame with a bolt-on rear subframe that sits on 43mm upside down Big Piston front forks and a gas-charged mono-shock. Braking duties are carried out by 300mm front 230mm rear disc brakes, aided by a dual-channel ABS.
