The battle for first is tough with a large two-wheeler company catering to every nook and corner of India and the world. Hero reclaims its crown in March 2025 sales, beating Honda in sales. That said, the top five two-wheeler makers in this list have all seen growth, or flat sales, but no decline in sales. Here are the top five best-selling two-wheeler brands in March 2025.

Hero reclaims its crown in March 2025 having lost it briefly to Honda in February 2025. The world’s largest two-wheeler maker sold a massive 5,49,604 units, a 12 percent growth over March 2024. Hero sold 5,06,641 motorcycles last month and 42,973 scooters in March 2025.
Following Hero is Honda, having briefly tasted victory in February 2025. Last month, Honda sold 4,27,448 units, which consisted of domestic sales
of 4,01,411 units and 26,037 units that were exported. For Honda, the Activa remains the best-seller, and Honda is looking to penetrate the EV segment with the Active e and the QC1.
Hosur-based TVS comes in next, having sold 4,00,120 units, as compared to selling 3,44,446 units in March 2024. Motorcycle sales accounted for 196,734 units in March 2025 and scooter sales accounted for 1,66,297 units. However, the biggest sales growth was in the EV segment for TVS, which witnessed sales of 26,935 units in March 2025 with a 77 percent YoY growth.
Rounding up the last two places are Bajaj and Suzuki. The Pune-based two-wheeler maker witnessed a flat growth, registering sales of 3,15,732 units as compared to 3,13,885 units sold in March 2024. Suzuki, however, has more success, registering sales of 1,25,930 units in March 2025 – its highest monthly sales so far – and a YoY growth of 21 percent.
