Although motorcycles lead two-wheeler sales, scooters are still popular owing to their ease of usage and practicality. Most two-wheeler makers manufacture scooters and models such as the Activa and Jupiter are popular amongst buyers. Here are the top five best-selling scooter models in April 2024.

Suzuki Burgman

In fifth is the Suzuki Burgman, a maxi-scooter-styled commuter, priced at Rs 96,761 ex-showroom. Suzuki sold 17,680 units of the Burgman in April 2024 as compared to selling 10,335 units in April last year, registering a YoY growth of 71 percent. 

TVS Ntorq

In fourth place is the TVS Ntorq, the company’s sportiest offering in the 125cc segment. In April 2024, TVS sold 30,411 units of the Ntroq as compared to selling 26,730 units in April 2023, registering a YoY growth of 14 percent. 

Suzuki Access

Up next is another Suzuki model, the Access. The family-focused Suzuki Access saw sales of 61,960 units in April 2024, as compared to sales of 52,231 units in April 2023, witnessing 19 percent YoY growth. 

TVS Jupiter

In second is the TVS Jupiter, the company’s best-selling product in April 2024. Last month, TVS sold 77,086 units of the Jupiter, as compared to 59,583 units sold in April 2023, registering a YoY growth of 29 percent. 

Honda Activa

As always, the Honda Activa leads the segment in scooter sales and last month, Honda sold 2,60,300 units of the Activa, compared to selling 2,46,016 units in April 2023, registering a YoY growth of 6 percent.
