Suzuki Motorcycle India is combining performance with sustainability by launching the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel at Rs. 2,16,500, ex-showroom Delhi. Powered by a 250cc BS-VI compliant engine, the bike is capable of running on ethanol blends ranging from 20 per cent to 85 per cent, contributing to reduced CO2 emissions. Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel: What’s new?
Suzuki has enhanced the 250cc engine with several key updates to support ethanol-blended fuels of up to 85 per cent. The sporty, fully-faired motorcycle now features upgraded components, including a modified injector, a new fuel pump and fuel line, an additional fuel filter, a new ECM and injector, new piston rings, and a redesigned IX/EX valve and valve seat. Additionally, the bike comes equipped with a new fuel gauge to ensure optimal performance.
Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel: Engine Specifications
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel is equipped with a single-cylinder 250cc engine featuring a Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC). It delivers 27.5 bhp at 9,300 rpm when running on E85 fuel and 27 bhp at 9,300 rpm on E20 fuel, with a torque output of 22.5 Nm at 7,300 rpm. The motorcycle benefits from Suzuki’s Oil Cooling System (SOCS) and Eco Performance (SEP) technology, ensuring low fuel consumption, high durability, and ease of maintenance.
Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel: Design
The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel is a fully fared motorcycle for better aerodynamics and sports an LED headlamp and tail light. To up its sporty quotient, the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel gets a sporty dual muffler. It is equipped with a split-seat design, dual-channel ABS, a side-stand interlock switch, and Suzuki’s Easy Start System. The motorcycle has an all-digital instrument cluster which is Bluetooth-enabled and is integrated with the Suzuki Ride Connect application.
Priced at Rs 2,16,500, ex-showroom Delhi, the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel comes in two colour options — Metallic Mat Black No. 2 or Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red with Metallic Mat Black No. 2.
