Last year, Suzuki announced plans to make the Burgman run on Hydrogen and revealed its design. After a few months, just when that project seems to have vanished without news, new patent images have surfaced, showing a change in design with the Suzuki Burgman Hydrogen project.
As per the new patent images, Suzuki will opt for a twin-tank setup for the Hydrogen fuel instead of a single tank. The new setup will see one tank at the front and the other at the rear, which also helps Suzuki retain the identical design of the Burgman.
The Hydrogen-powered Suzuki Burgman will most likely use the same components as the regular Burgman 400, and with the updated design, most of the critical parts such as the engine and gearbox can also retain their original position.
There will be minor changes, though, as the Hydrogen-powered Burgman will see some parts like the radiator being moved to give it some clearance from the Hydrogen tank, a deflector to channel hot air away from the tanks, and some modifications to the engine.
