Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Sokudo Electric India has launched its new line of helmets for male and female riders. The new helmets are available in black colour and compliant with the ISI standards. With this, the electric scooter manufacturer expands into the rider safety equipment segment.
Through this new product line, Sokudo Electric hopes to capture around 2-3% of India’s $2 billion helmet market within the first year of the launch. The company also anticipates the helmet line will contribute approximately 1% to its total revenue for the Financial Year 2025.
Sokudo Electric’s new helmet line is made from non-breakable virgin plastic, which adds to its strength and resilience to withstand the toughest conditions. According to the company, the new line exceeds the IS 4151 standard for helmets, giving it good shock absorption and retention strength.
The full-face design offers optimal protection against accidents. The helmets weigh less than 1 kg, making them lightweight and comfortable for long-distance travel. The helmets also come with a 1-year guarantee and are available in distinct designs for male and female riders, priced at Rs 949 and Rs 1017, respectively.

The new helmets are available for purchase through Sokudo Electric’s official website and flagship stores. Customers who purchase the brand’s electric scooters can avail of the new helmet at a discounted rate.
