Matter has upped the ante in the Indian electric two-wheeler mobility sector with the first-ever Lifetime Battery Warranty for its electric motorbike, the Aera. The country’s first-ever offer is available under the Matter Care program, which will address one of the biggest apprehensions among potential EV buyers over battery longevity and replacement costs.

Mohal Lalbhai, Founder & CEO of Matter, said,“When you ride with Matter, we ride with you—for life. Our riders shouldn’t have to worry about what powers their bike. This Lifetime Battery Warranty is our way of saying: we’ve got your back.” He added that this bold step is rooted in bold innovation, with the goal of making electric mobility not just accessible, but also worry-free for all.

Matter rides away battery woes

The battery is the heart of any electric vehicle, and its lifespan has often been a source of concern for riders considering the switch to electric. Matter’s Lifetime Battery Warranty aims to eliminate this worry, assuring customers that their battery will last as long as they own their vehicle. Matter says that this commitment is not just a marketing strategy, it’s a reflection of the company’s confidence in its engineering and technology.

Matter backs itself up from its vertically integrated approach. The company designs and manufactures everything in-house, from the battery pack to the Battery Management System (BMS). Years of rigorous testing across diverse Indian terrains, fluctuating temperatures, and real-world riding conditions have proven the durability, safety, and performance of Matter’s battery technology.
